can someone tell me if the horn on the steering wheel has to be connected or can you have a separate switch on the dashboard for the MOT THANX

i put my bus thru the mot last summer with a £2.50 switch mounted o
n the dash,as long as you've got a working horn thats all they need,cheers

as long as the horn works, and the tester knows how to work it it don't matter
