Hi, just bought myself a 1971 beetle, needs some work to be spot on for summer but pretty good all round condition. Its not my first bug, but the first in a few years.
Its been lowered all round, sway-a-ways on the front and a couple of splines at the back, or at least that’s what I thought!!
It seems the passenger side rear is an inch lower than the drivers side!!
I'm presuming they have just gone a spline or two too many when lowering it, now I’m ok with bodywork and most mechanical stuff, but never tackled lowering suspension before.
Any advice on how to raise the passenger side to the same height as the drivers side would be greatly appreciated.
Is it a quick / easy task? or am I better getting it done professionally?
