Rizzo The Rat

Shortly after buying my Beetle, someone told me it had been in the film Shaft (assuming the 2000 version with Samuel L Jackson). I haven't got around to watching the film myself yet but just wondered if anyone had seen it recently and might have spotted it? It's a blue 1971 1300 VUJ627J and would probably be quite an attractive car at that time.
Not expecting anything to come of this but it would be cool to find out that Rizzo was a film star!
Cheers and Merry Christmas.
Garf :)

...I had a Morris Minor Pick-Up that had starred in the TV series - 'Shine on Harvey Moon' several years ago.
...and my beetle is a '63 - same year as 'Herbie'

If it was an import from the states, then it could have even been in the original 'Shaft', i'm sure it was made about 1973/74.

What, a porno with exterior scenes? Are you thinking of that documentary on Channel 4 the other day about two blokes who enjoyed making sweet lurve to their cars (both of which were Beetles - I mean come on, we all love our cars, but I draw the line at kissing and cuddling!) :D
