Hi all .........well i had my toy in the late summer so ill share it with u.Ive waited 30 yrs to buy one so i went mad and bought mine on ebay last June.I took it to a guy who restored a bay for my daughters in Brecon ........Yes im welsh .Stripped to the cage in a day or so , couple new doors, bit of welding here and there.Seven weeks to being on the road, turns a few heads, went to Margan show and came out best custom ...and i only went to look around .
The artwork is all airbrush.I am a heavy metal follower and because i wanted sort of skulls a d stuff i had to comprimse with my wife so i went for dragons/gothy stuff.Im going to have more artwork done on the sides springtime.....the front cover of Metallicas Master of Puppets and on the other side a dragon with a maiden in an encirculed tail or something
My wife designed the inside ...neutral colors.few cupboards on one side,dvd/tv on the roof, ragtop, 3/4 rock and roll, spots, dab radio, lowered mpi wheels .
Its a greedy on fuel but i supposed that norm is it .I love going out in it and try to go each week end even if its a couple of miles .Slept in it once on the Gower and it was so cumfy.Bought an awning for it and did nt realize it was so big ...but its great
Ill do a couple of events 2009 ill have to have a look at the calender .I did Chedder in October so i made it that far .cheers guys ...Dragon

u do have to drop the engine to paint it but its really not that hard, u should be able to do it within a couple of hrs,
its actually only 7 bolts and three wires so really is an easy job, dont go for crome dress up parts as the quality is really bad and the new tinware just doesnt fit and can lead to overheating of ure engine. its best to either clean and paint ure originals or get it powder coated - like i have
as for cleaning the engine and parts , spray a product called GUNK on them them agitate with a tooth brush (pref not the missus new one) then blast off with a pressure washer
if you do paint by hand use a heat resistant paint or u will be doing it again in no time ! lol
hammerite only stays nice looking for about a year so i would look for a better paint than that. powder coat is ideal to be honest and i got all mine shot blasted and coated fer £50 (thats the red stuff in my engine bay)
