Dirty Buggers

Hi there, we are a free VW club mainly based in Sussex but also have members in Kent and Surrey.

We are a relatively new club having officially formed this year. As such, we don't have a forum or website other than a Facebook page we made recently.

We are a group of mates with some of the most unique dubs you will have seen.

The Funkmaster Red graffitied sticker bus, the Rust-eze bus, the 'SCRAP' yellow splitty, the camo splitty, a heb replica, 'Stumpy the shortened bay window pick up' and that dreadful 'split window' New Beetle are among our members.

We have also got lots more conventional VWs in our ranks. All of our members own at least 2 dubs and we regularily attend loads of VW shows.

Watercooled, aircooled, stock or wildly custom, all VWs are welcome with us. :)

Yeah dude, i am... :) I'm on the committee of the SVWOC so i can do the magazine. I want the experience so i can try to get a job writing for a proper vw mag one day... :)

However they don't really do many shows and so i don't limit myself to just the one club. I'm also a paid up member of London Thames Valley VWC.

I'm quite feeling the love at Dubnuts at the moment but i have yet to come to a meet. However i'm cruising up to Slough with those guys this weekend.

I'm also a member of the North Devon VW club as my mrs is from Croyde and her parents still live there.

And then there is Dirty Buggers, kinda my little invention. We formed about 2 years ago but only really kicked things off properly this year at Bug Jam... It's a really informal club and is really more of a 'group of mates' type thing. We all know each other outside of the VW scene but get together to do shows. No meets, no comittee, no fees, just a damn good party at shows... :D

Oh yeah and also Club concept and Evvo for New Beetle clubs but thats more just a forum/show display thing... :)

One day i wanna get a Baja and then i'll be knocking on your door too dude... :D

Sounds like you have lots in common with Dubnuts, should definately get together as you both cover the same area. :D
